This Privacy Policy outlines how HostHQ ("Controller" and "Processor") collects, utilizes, shares, and secures personal data. This policy is explicitly designed to comply with the New Jersey Data Protection Act (NJDPA) and protects consumers acting in an individual or household context. It does not apply to individuals acting in a commercial or employment context.

2. Information Collection and Processing

HostHQ collects information necessary to process transactions, generate secure ticketing, and facilitate event check-ins. This includes, but is not limited to, the Consumer's name, email address, payment processing details (handled securely via Stripe), device identifiers, and geographic data. We operate on a strict "Zero-Party Data" principle on behalf of Event Organizers; we act as a data processor facilitating the relationship between the Consumer and the Organizer.

3. Data Usage and Non-Sale Guarantee

The personal data collected is utilized exclusively to deliver the requested service, prevent fraud, and communicate critical event updates. HostHQ explicitly does not sell, rent, or cross-market Consumer personal data to third parties, data brokers, or competing event organizers. HostHQ does not engage in targeted advertising based on cross-context behavioral tracking.

HostHQ implements robust administrative, technical, and physical security measures, including data encryption in transit and at rest, multi-factor authentication for administrative access, and strict role-based access controls. As a data processor for Event Organizers, HostHQ maintains binding contractual agreements guaranteeing data confidentiality, adherence to the Organizer's specific processing instructions, and the mandatory return or deletion of data once the processing relationship is complete.
